Hello i bought the World racing 2 game. I cant run it from harddrive no mather what. Do anyone have problem running Starforce games from harddrive? What do i need to do to get it running from harddrive. I made a image of the game.
You need a good image that means an image in the mds format with a good dpm (Data Position Measurement). You have to enable the dpm option when you read an image with Alcohol 120%. Choose a slow dpm reading speed and high precision. If you can't read the dpm with your drive you can download one from the database copybase.ch (german site).
Finally you've to unplug your ide-drives (dvd-rom, burner... not your harddisks) if you want to play with the mounted image in DTv4.
If you have a NForce 3/4 chipset it could work without unplugging.
