I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I thought using your expertise to maybe help me out.
I bought the original Splinter Cell 3 DVD, and was playing it normally. Due to other problems, I had to reinstall my Windows XP , and of course SC3 also. All was fine, game working properly but I forgot to backup my saved games.. :P Found a save-game zip file on the net and tried it, but the game wouldn't recognize it. Thought that maybe it was some kind of version conflict and so I uninstalled the game to reinstall it and bring it back do version 1.0
The problem is: I can't install the game! The flash autorun application crashes immediately, as does the setup.exe if I try to run it manually. Everything else on the computer is working fine, including every other game I have.
Is it possible that starforce has messed something up? Ay ideas of what could I do?
