Trouble brewing in emulating Sims 2 University

I am a new user of Daemon, and I am having difficulty copying the image of the genuine version of "Sims 2 University". I used "Sims2EP1.exe" as the image, but it still doesn't work! I am not a technie, so I am quite oblivious to emulation.

Can anyone carefully define for me the procedures of emulating a copy-protected CD-ROM? It'll be really useful for non-technies like me.

Use Alcohol 120% to create your image file and select the Safedisc profile when making the image.

If anyone wants to be more detailed they can reply to correct my not carefully detailed and too short post.
