And what hardware is used to play? With or without IDE drives unplugged?
Maybe the extra protection against emulators is detecting IDE drives on Nforce boards and/or controller cards, and not some DT4 blacklisting. In that case it should still be possible to play with IDE drives unplugged on every PC.

hey people,

is it actually such a great idea about talking about all the stuff the daemon crew are working on? already there has been a comment on the sf site about daemon tools. from what i have read about the plans in the up coming releases of DT, it seems that they are 3 moves ahead of star force. but then if some star force worker decides to read the site they will find out what you will be working on and attempt to counter it.

maybe it doesnt matter, but this is just my opinion.

if i was working on something so great, i would want to keep it under the hood for as long as possible u know:wink:

Yes, thats right but i can quarantee you that the StarForce Devs have allready Customer Status and they are be able to looking whats going on in the Forums. So there is no need for keeping it Secrtet because all the infos are out to public.

i dont think they made their protection looser...
so if u had to unplug your IDE with Sf3.6 or previous u will also have to with the new vs.
