  • Help a N00B?

    Basically, I'm using Daemon Tools and would like to play The Godfather without the original game CD and without that annoying "can't get out of my car" bug that comes with using a crack. I just don't know how to get the game running. I've got the full game installed from the game CDs, but I don't know how to use Daemon Tools to get it up and running--a lot of the info I'm seeing talks about ISO files (which I can make--I have a program that does that--but it would require me uninstalling the game, making it into an ISO file, etc.). Can anyone tell me what to do?

    • Put the original dvd in your drive
    • Download and install a trial of Alcohol 120% (www.alcohol-software.com)
    • Start the Image making wizard of ALcohol
    • choose th drive and the mds image fileformat (no special read settings are needed for the godfather game dvd)
    • mount the image using DT 4
    • Use SD4Hide or another antiblacklisting tool for antiblacklisting

      Cable666 mentioned game CD's :wink:

      @Cable666
      Do it like AnalCobra suggested, but choose Safedisc or Safedisc 2/3 profile for image creation (both have identical read settings); if your drive is really slow in skipping the Safedisc read errors, you may try the 'Fastdump method' (but not every drive is capable of that with SD 2.9+)
      I'm not employed by Disc Soft and my views do not necessarily reflect the ones of the company.
