I have recently installed BF2, I actually bought the game! first time i bought a game in 4 years.

My problem is when i installed the game It installed okay and everything no problems, i go to play the game and i get a error message saying "disable all Cd/Dvd emulation software", so i disabled D-Tools.
Again i try to launch the game. Same message. I uninstall daemon tools Again same message and D tools is the only CD/ emulation program i have on my comp, Any suggestions?

Do you really have no other cd-dvd emualtion tools installed?
Did you ever have other installed (CloneCD)?

Or AnyDVD ? Try to Disable. Otherwise use the SafeDisk 4 Hider to avoid Blacklistening.

What does Blacklisted mean exactly?

Disable CloneCD's Hide CD-R media function and tray.

A blacklist is a list of programs may not be installed on the computer for the game to run. The copy protection will scan for those programs, and if they're found, the copy protection will not allow the game to work. Daemon Tools is a very popular blacklist target (for obvious reasons), but even though it's very hard to efficiently blacklist DT today, one of the next versions will include even harder anti blacklist measures.

Until then, programs like CureRom, SR7stop et. al. can circumvent these blacklists.
