  • Star Wars Empire At War 2 Update

I purchased EAW2 and made an image with Alcohol 52% so I could play it without ruining my CD. I was only able to start the game using the image if I started it with AntiSecuROM Loader. This works fine.

EAW2 has published an update that the game asked me if I wanted to download and install. I told it to go ahead (dumb thing to do) because in the read me there are several bug fixes and new enhancements that I wanted.

After the update AntiSecuROM wasn't able to load EAW2 any more. It was able to detect that I had a CD emulator running.

Any suggestions? Is this something that ASR handles or Alcohol?

Are you sure it is Star Wars Empire At War 2? Google doesn't know this game, only Star Wars Empire At War.

Which version update? Which AntiSecuRom Loader version do you use?

      your right

I was getting my games mixed up. It is simply Empire At War.

The version of AntiSecuROM is v1.2. I believe that is the latest. I downloaded it from this site.

I tried CureROM 1.2.2 (the latest as far as I can tell) and it works BEFORE the EAW update, but not after. This is the same as AntiSecuROM 1.2.

I hope the author of one of them updates it soon because I really want to get the update. It has some cool changes and good bug fixes.
