This is my problem, at the start of the game my screen fades to black and I can't see anything I have to close the game with Alt+F4 because of this in other word I need help please

this is very long ago for me, but i still remember. this has nothing to do with copy protection, emulation or DT. it is some other issue for sure. i remember flattening my system and reinstall os for some other reason at that time and after that the game ran perfectly.
