  • Battle for Middle Earth 2 - Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools

Hello, I am a new member here.

I recently decided to buy a big fat 320GB hard drive to mount my CD's/DVD's on for gaming since I got tired of always swapping them out, and being all thumbs, I scratched several up over the years.

Anyhow, I have successfully copied a half-dozen game CD's to my HD. Right now Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II is giving me some trouble.

I used Alcohol 120% SafeDisc 2/3 settings to make the mdf mds image. All seemed to go fine. But when I go to play the game, it says "Please insert the correct CD-ROM".

I tried using both Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools to mount the image, with no success.

    Anyone successfully do this?

    Thanks!

Hmmm, I did the same thing, but had issues. I insatalled the game with all six CD's from my DVD-ROM drive. Then did a disc copy using Alcohol 120% Safedisc 2/3 settings. And it still asked. Perhaps I need to use different settings?
