  • Image mounted, doesn't read from correct drive.

I have Football Manager in .mds form on my PC, and I have mounted the image and run the program successfully. However, when I moved it to my laptop, I was able to mount the image and install the game. Yet whenever I use the Football Manager shortcut, it searches the CD-Rom drive, and can't find the disc, telling me to insert the proper disc and try again. Yet when I use the autorun feature on the virtual drive, it runs the un-install or install feature, never actually allowing me to run the game. I've tried to duplicate all the settings from my desktop, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

How did you create the image?
Did you installit from the image or the original cd?

Also, what's the hardware specs on your desktop computer? Some hardware specs have an affect on the ability of copy protections to do their job correctly (such as the nForce 3/4 chipset).
