How do I make a back up copy

Can I use Daemon tools to make an image of a retail CD for
backup purposes? I can do that with alcohol 120 but cant figure
out how to do this with daemon tools.

Does this application have the ability to make image files or
just read them?

Daemon Tools does not create image files, you need a recording software like Alcohol, CloneCD, Blindwrite or whatever to create image files.

Thanks folks, I understand now. I thought Deamon tools could make images as well as read them. I miss understood. Im trying out Blindwrite out now...so far so good.
