Help! DT not working for Deus Ex: Invis War

some help on this would be GREAT

i think my cd drive is crapped, so I used Blindwrite to copy the image of DX2 cd onto the harddrive (game keeps freezing, and audio goes "tick-tick-tick-tick" like stuck record, when cd spins up, i assume must be a prob there).

essentially, I just wanna run the game entirely from my HD cuz much faster (right?) and this will eliminate one possible cause for the crash/freeze over and over.

problem is, when i mount the image (copied from disk by BlindWrite 6), teh game starts and run just fine until loading/starting a new game, simply will not do it. just sits forever at the "loading" screen. ARRG!

The problem is the game, try to update game with latest patch.

By the way, you probably won't notice any performance increase if you start the game from an image - the whole game content is copied to HD anyway. The CD/DVD is only used to verify you've actually bought the game.
