Can DT handle subchannel data (like a .sub file from CloneCD image)? And if it does, will that data be burned along with the main data if the "disc" in the virtual drive is copied to a real CD?

For sure, but you wonґt go via Daemon Tools, but simply write the ccd-image with CloneCD to a cd-r(w)!?
