If im getting a new laptop with vista will i still be able to record my pc games to the hardrive and play them without the disc? Also will it slow my computer down? and do i need any special software or other programs to do this recording?

Thanks for recommending the alcohol software. i went to the "alcohol120%" site and the system requirements said i need one or more "bus-mastering SCSI and/or ATAPI buses." what is this and how do i know if my computer is compatable?
