I'm trying to take a backup of an original Adobe CS3 DVD, but i'm unsure what kind of copy protection it uses.
I have searched a little around with no luck, hopefully some1 here has the answer
I tried earlier to make a image and did'nt select any copy protection, but when i mounted it later to install i just got "Insert CD".
So i'm guessing there has to be something. If not, it might just be that i'm using Alcohol 120%. Can you suggest any other programs to make images with?
I have tried twice now to make a image, once with Alcohol 120% and once with CloneCD.
I get no errors when i make the images, but when i try to install, i just get "Insert CD"
I guess the application wants the disc in the same drive from where you have installed it Just reinstall Adobe CS3 from a virtual drive with the image you made.
And is the sector scan as good
as the file protection scan?

sector scanning only supports Tagés in v5.0 (for other protections simply scan the programs exe)
file scanning supports all kind of protections.
once Protection iD is started it will pop up a tray icon.
click on it and select 'Scan File(s) / Folders / CD/DVD' -> 'CD/DVD drive file/ sector' -> your drive letter
