.ISO not exactly as the original?

I have tried to make an .iso of "universe at war: Earth assault" and "Supreme Commander", but when i run the first game it says to insert the DVD, and the second game says "disk authentication failed". I can not run any of the two without the real disc.

I used alcohol 120% to rip the dvd, and the iso seems to work, i can acces all the files, but it just won't let me play the game with those emulated discs. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The .iso format does not contain copy protection data. You need to use .mds/.mdf format for copy protected titles, using the proper settings.
