'DPM not supported for this device' but only for CDs

    'DPM not supported for this device' but only for CDs

    When using Alcohol (have not tried any other tools yet) if I try to make an image of a CD I get an error during the process that says 'DPM not supported for this device' but only for CDs, if I do a DVD it works fine and so does the image (even without turning emulation on in Daemon).

    Is this normal for DVD RW drives.

    The drive is a TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-S083A

    Emulation isn't needed for images.

    You are using latest Alcohol?
    You can also try DT Pro

      Please either post in the Alcohol support forums or e-mail a complete System Report from within Alcohol to the support team.
