Autorun runs... then error message

I burned my game, so I could take it with me without having to have my CDs, and I used to play it fine. Then all of a sudden, after I deleted one of my other installed games, Daemon tools started acting weird.
I can mount my game image, and then autorun will run, but then it tells me to insert the disk. I was told that to fix it, I needed to tell the computer to look in the virtual drive, and I guess I'm just confused on how to do that.
Can anyone help me?

Was the game installed from the virtual drive?
Sometimes that is required.
Which game is it and what settings were used to create the image?
