Daemon Tools Error, please help

Hi, ive been using daemon tools for a while now, but i recently switched to vista, and as i have read on this site, and a few others, vista and daemon dont get along. I have mounted the image onto the virtual drive, i can see the drive in my computer, and can even load the install/run screen for the game im trying to run, but when i click run on the game, i get a box saying "please insert cd into cd-rom drive" is there a way around this? any help is greatly appreciated.

What game?
What protection?

I Created the image using OCD, the game im trying to play is Diablo II. protection?

OCD is which program? I have never heard of that abbreviation.
Game uses SecuROM, therefore you must extract DPM info.
Also it is working with the original disk?
