"Cannot locate the CD-ROM"

Hey guys I'm pretty new to DT so forgive me if this is a stupid problem but here it goes: I'm trying to run a game called Tachyon, and everything seems to work fine, I've installed it without much issue and when I try to run it I even get teased with the opening cinematic but after that an error message pops up that reads:

"Please Insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart the application.".

The iso file seems to be mounted correctly; I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

iso = not good enough for copy protection, you need to make the image from the original disk using daemon tools or alcohol

the messagebox you describe also seems like its safedisc, so use the safedisc profile

I have the same problem. And I've mounted a mds file. I have both mds and mdf files to mount but then I still get the message.

I'm currently TRYING to play The Sims 2. It's the base game. no expansions or patches have been added.

I've installed it ok and everything looks fine but that window just keeps popping up.

I'm also using Windows XP.

Somebody help me?
