What is the better way to play

no, i assume that there is the possibility that something might be limiting the speed on the virtual drive, bug maybe, and that running the game from the burned disk might be faster in that instance .. that, and if its all running from the same physical hdd, it might have some bottlenecks, that running from a cd/dvd burned disk might actually bypass

You assume somebody has CD/DVD drive which is faster than HDD, don't you? I hardly believe that.

Mount .iso image on virtual drive? Or to burn the iso image on a cd and play from your own drive? -- I am asking this because a game is lagging when i play it. i was wondering if the game would run better from a real cd in my real drive rather than the iso image in the virtual drive?
