copy capability on an Artec 52x24x52 (WSM 4848 or WSM 4040); a new writer.

Any help would be appreciated. New to the archiving community. I just got the mentioned Artec writer and don't find it listed on any of the "supported drives" for many of the burning software packages out there. It may not be listed because it's a newer drive from Artec. I've also been reading the forum and have concluded that with the right tools (or combination of);
archiving is possible. I'd like to use Alcohol120% and believe I will also need Daemon Tools if I'm to make a successful archival copy of my data. True?
