I have Daemon Tools Pro Advanced and have made a BioShock 2 image with the maximum dpm that my drive can handle (12x).
I tried using YASU, but securom detects DT anyway and gives "conflict with emulationg software detected." Using DTE gets me one step further, but the securom gives "please insert original disc instead of a backup (1000)."
I have been struggling for more than two weeks trying to get this to work, so any help is appreciated, but please do not link any instructions such as how to make a proper disc image (NEW SecuRom, max DPM,...), or how to use DTE (vUSB drive letter lower than virtual IDE drive letter and all that) because I have done all that. I have also tried combinations of plain Data Disc images and lower DPM speeds.
Could anyone help or point me in the right direction? I know there are other people having trouble with BioShock 2.
