Games and Daemon tools - mdx file question.

Hello ,i'm new to this forum and i need some information about games.

I usually buy alot of games and yesterday installed the latest version of DT ... i saw on the menu that there is disk imaging where it helps you to create a backup of your disk in mdx format.I created one for Battlefield and it works ,but since i do not have another disk around me because i'm not at home I'm asking here is this going to copy all new games corectly and allow me to play them without inserting the disk in the cd.I'm talking about games like :

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2

ARMA II

Left 4 Dead 2

Aliens vs. Predator

if someone tried already on a new games to please say how is it ...

Those titles don't have a disc based check but a online check/activation (UbiSoft Online DRM & STEAM)

Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2
ARMA II

Those two have a SecuROM disc check which can be backuped using the New SecuROM profile
of DAEMON Tools Pro.

ok one more question if you create the image with the DT pro ,will you be able to read it with the lite version ?

ok so if I use the daemon tools pro for new and old games with that New SecuROM profile they will all work ... ?

If image is made correctly, yes.

for both old and new games i can use the New SecuROM profile ????

Yes, but for newer games you have to try different DPM speeds in case you get the error "Insert original instead of backup".

and how to you change this speeds ? you mean i have to use slower read when making the mdx ?

You have a dropdown menu to select the speed.
It doesn't always mean you have to read slower, it is just a possibility.

oki thank you ,i bought already dt pro advanced so i will try some new game and see what happens
