When mounting .mds files, get error msg: unable to mount image. file not accessable.

I am using Daemon Tools 3.4.7 and my .mds was made with Alcohol120%- just to note that they load ok if I use DT Lite...
System runs XP PRO SP 3
Any suggestions, anyone?

Hmmm... version 3.47 is too old. Use the latest DT Lite.

The MDS standard has been further developed since the days of DT 3.47, therefore not all images can be mounted.
To completely prevent such issues you can simply use an old Alcohol version that complies with the old MDS standard, e.g. this one (you can uninstall the included Toolbar in Add or Remove Programs).
