  • Sims2 University Life collection + DaemonTools Pro 4.35.0308

    I successfully created Sims2 and Sims2 Open For Business images using DaemonTools Pro 4.35.0308 to work on my daughter's machine running Windows7 32bit. However, when I tried the same method (as for Sims2 and Sims2 OFB) for Sims 2 University Life Collection, it will not work.

    Can anyone please advise what needs to be done to get Sims2 ULC to work with DaemonTools Pro 4.35? Thanks in advance.

    Did you have installed CloneCD before?

      @lukeksk
      The original single releases of that compilation were protected by Safedisc 3 (Sims 2 University) and SecuROM 7 (IKEA Home Stuff & Teen Style Stuff).

      So maybe that compilation DVD is protected by SecuROM.
      What's the exact wording of the error message you get ?

        1. No. I have not installed CloneCD on this system. Should I?

        2. The error message is:
        "Conflict with Emulation Software detected."

        When making disc image of ULC, should I choose the Profile as "SafeDisc" or "New SecuROM"? Or none?
        Thanks.

          Update to latest DT Pro and error should be gone.

            That message indicates it's SecuROM, so please retry with the New SecuROM profile, maximum DPM speed.
