Daemon Tools Lite crashes when reading Disc

Using DAEMON Tools Lite v4.47.1 (with SPTD 1.83) with Win7.

Creating backup images (MDX) of music CD's that accompany sheet music books for the guitar.

I have backed up some 5 discs already. Now suddenly stumped on why DTLite hangs when trying to backup Complete Giuliani Studies disks one and two, which work perfectly, are clean and in pristine condition.

What could the problem be?

For a comparative purpose only please uninstall DT lite and install DT Pro trial version.
Insert the problematic disc, and open Device Info... of the drive.
There go to the Media tab and check number of sessions and data/audio track order.

Then open Make Disc Image -> Device tab/Profile, there select the profile according to the infos you found in the Media tab.
Each profile has a short explanation at the bottom.

If image creation still fails it's probably an issue with DAEMON Tools' image engine.

In this case you can try to create a cue/bin image with ImgBurn.


P.S.: on x64 OSs there's a driver signing bug in current DT Pro version - just ignore that
