  • Basic newbie mounting question

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question..I looked around and am still unclear so I thought I'd ask. I am still unclear as to what a virtual drive does. I understand you can "mount" one and use it to run stuff without cds,etc..Like I have some .bin/.cue files that I don't want to burn to CD-Rs..Is it possible to mount these and avoid burning them with Fireburner? I mounted the image and nothing happens..I don't know how to access it or anything..
    Thanks in advance

If everything went ok, you should have the Daemon Tools taskbar icon - check the menu (right-click) if a virtual device was created, if so check the drive letter, if not, try to set the number of devices to 1 - 4.
You should have a virtual device then, which works like a real cd/dvd-rom, so after mounting an image you can access it via the corresponding driveletter in Explorer.
