What format is your iso file? (I don't want to know wher you grabbed it  )
Is it a cd-rom containing an avi file (divx, for example, but it's just an example.. ) ? Just mount it in Daemon-Tools, then drag and drop the avi file from the virtual drive to your hard drive..
Is it a VCD/SVCD iso file ? Mount it in DT, then use a tool like VCDGear in order to extract the mpeg file from the virtual drive.
To convert avi to mpeg you need some mpeg encoder.
i think i'm sort of repeating myself, but for stuff like that, IsoBuster works fine for extractig the data from both 'normal' and (S)VCD disks (or image files).
You were not actually thinking about playing an .iso file like plain video data, i hope? :P
