Hello.

I'm a newbe with deamon tools.
I have a problem with Sacred. I'v made an 1:1 image with alcohol, and protect cd 5. When i use deamon tools, my pc show me a message Wrong disk. And when i look Sacred.exe with Protection id 5 i'v this message :

You've to un-install Alcohol, 'till new version fixes the ProtectCD5 blacklist.

You also have to delete manual everything in your registry that includes "alcohol". Alcohol doesn't delete all entries.

Then the game check your cd it turns the RMPS Emulation off, turn it on again before you get the error message and it should work. It works for me!!!

i tried 5 hours to bypass it (windows security, registry locks and so on...) but not a chance... i think i have to search the game disk in my cd mountain :?

intresting is that the registry lockout hasnґt worked... stupid windows security...

Yes i have 1.6!!! I donґt mount an image, i use a burned copy of the game.

If it donґt work the first time i restart daemon and then it works fine. Atleast it works 1:3 You must be quick to select RPMS after sacred disabel it.

sacred 1.66 can be run with daemon tools and daemonscript - only on a burnt cd though. Copy the cd1 on a slow read/write speed (4 or 8x) using vob protect Cd 5 option in alcohol 120%. Then use a daemonscript like the one found on http://www.mgforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24958.

It does work - i've done it on a few computers now.
