Lord of the Rings not Co-operating

I've created an image of both the install disk & game disk. All went OK. I have loaded the game to the hard drive using daemon tools. Both disks were asked for & the installation went OK. I have rebooted.

Now when I click on the LOTR shortcut (when the game disk image is loaded into daemon tools) the hard drive starts to load the game then nothing happens. I don't leave the desktop.......nothing happens.

If I stick the cd into the rom, click the shortcut the game will start.

Any clues as to what is going on??

Probably bad images, LOTR is protected by SecuROM >v4.8x, so you need image with DPM data (e.g. Alcohol or Blindwrite) - so re-create from your original cds in appropriate image format.
