Emulate CD/DVD-R?

I understand that Daemon Tools does not support CD/DVD-R emulation, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a software packages out there that does?

What I want to do is be able to open a DVD creation program, select the emulated drive as the destination drive, and have it create an ISO on my hard drive instead of actually burning a disk.

many authoring programs are able to write the data to the harddisk and then you can / have to burn it with the tool you like.

i use tmpgenc dvd author for authoring, win dvd to test and then i burn it with nero.

Nero Burning ROM can do that.
