making image og burned disk with RMPS

If i mount and MDS image and enabel RMPS (needed) in deamon tools.
Can I still make a perfect MDS file by using achohol. The RMPS option should emulate the timmings that achohol readns ito the MDS file.

or to put it in short
.MDS -> disc+RMPS -> .MDS should it be possibel ?

I lost some original disc (car accident) and i need HDD space, so i want to burn out my backup images to disc's but i want to know if i can make working images later on again.

Why not just keep the .mds files for that?
And I do believe Alcohol won't use it's own RMPS data on a source disc when making an image from it.

Spacing issues

I did knew that A120 wouldn't read the raw RPMS data on a copy.

but if deamon tools are set to emulate the RPMS data to timmings the CD should stil have the same timmings as the original and reading again for DPMS should read the data again. So it should be burnable with RPMS
Unlees the proces of readin DPMS or making RPMS are a lossy process.


BURN: .MDS/.MDF image --> cd with RPMS
READ: CD with RPMS + emulating on --> .MDS/.MDF image[/b]

OOH see now thta the .MDS file is very small
can i keppe the .MDS file and create the .MDF from the burned copy then ?

Yep, you can. No problems with that.

And if i scan it right DT and Alc use the same engine, so it still won't do new DPM measurement on an RMPS copy i think.
