Good article about Starforce and copy protections in general at Firingsquad

I tought I should share this link with others interested in copy protections, and specially "uncrackable"* Starforce.

What I really hate is the kernel-mode driver this protection installs, those using no-CD cracks can play many games without Administrator rights and without tainting their system with third-party kernel space drivers.
Fortunately where I live using no-CD patches is absolutely legal, at least for now before the EUCD..

*I haven't yet seen a Starforce protected game work without the original media or patched executable.
