It says CD/DVD emulation has been detected in which I can't run the game as it needs disk one.. pls.. help

Does it run fine with your original CD?
What program did you use the images (and if you remember what settings you used please post them too)?

i have the same problem CD/DVD emulation has been detected. i used alcohal 120% and made a mdf and a mds file from it and i use d-tools to run it but it wont run it comes up with the error....

Which settings did you use to create the image? Also: Does it run fine
from original-discs?

I made a backup with blindwrite and automatic settings and it works without problems.

Well, I can definetly confirm that this proggy and it's protection do not pose any probs with a) Alcohol b) DT c) CloneCD with disabled 'Hide CDRMedia' function. d) BW4 e) BW5 PERIOD.

edit: at least on a Win98SE system. Just for completeness.

you are talking about the unofficial 'OneManArmy'-patch? I don't think it changes anything with vampire.exe or vampire.dll, so why not?
