Mouting Questions...im a newb

hello, i have nero burner, dt 3.47 and i wanted to know what does mounting a .iso file do and would i need a blank disc to do it? what does the dt actually do to a computer?

edit: forgot to ask what happens if u mount a file and uninstall dt 3.47 later on? and do i need to install the game first or after i mount the iso? sry for my noobness but this is my first time using this program.

DT installs one or more virtual (not really existing) CD-Drives in your system, and you can 'mount' CD image files (f.e. iso's) in those drives, which will then be seen by the system as virtual (not really existing) CD's. Now that's really all there is. Apart from that, just treat it like if you put a real CD in a real CD drive.
