    i just d/l this software

    blah blah blah - i am noob

    umm

    what do i do so i can play startcraft without my cd ?

    reg, not brood wars

    i don't even know how to copy or where

        I think Made_In_China referred to DAEMON Tools when he spoke of downloading the software.

        Make an image of your Starcraft CD (e.g. with Alcohol 120%), then mount it to DAEMON Tools' virtual CD/DVD drive and start the game.

          you don't even need to use alcohol 120% with this... Starcraft is an old game, and copying an ISO using nero or even ISO Powertools will do. (google for windowsXP ISO powertool to get it)
