Problem with Sid Meier's Pirates!

Everytime I try to start the game, it pops up with an error, 'Wrong Disc inserted. Please Insert the Original Pirates! in your CD/DVD Drive.' Now, I made a virtual CD/DVD drive and I put the .ISO there, its Device 0, E. So, if you know what I happen to be doing wrong or know how to fix this without burning it on to a CD, I'll greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your help.

Which program did you use to create the image?

I used MagicISO.

ISO is an obsolete format, it doesn't duplicate copy protection information. Recreate the image in mds/mdf-format with Alcohol 120%.
