making copy of a dvd using computer burner?

    making copy of a dvd using computer burner?

    Hey guys I have quite a few asian dvds that Ive had imported that cost me quite a bit of money. I want to make backup copies of them using my Sony dru-800A. For me so I dont scratch them and also for some people that have been wanting to borrow them that I dont trust. :lol:

    Is there a way to do this or do I need to get a stand alone dvd recorder and dvd player?
