Sims 2 & Sims 2 : University Problem

    Sims 2 & Sims 2 : University Problem

    Hi,
    I just formatted my computer and reinstalled the Sims 2 and Daemon Tools 3.47. I mount my old Mini-Image that worked perfectly before formatting. Right after the splash screen, the game crashes and it gives me a Windows Error. After that I was like WTF and I installed my expansion University for the Sims 2 and tried the Mini-Image for University that worked too before formatting and the same thing happened.. The game crashed right after the splash screen... Got no problem with some other game like Scrapland and Medieval Lords but I just can't start the sims 2 with the mini-images, only no-cds are working...

    Can someone help me out with this?

    Try creating full images and run from them.
    Mini-images are not very reliable.

      Already tried that and it's not working either...

      Any other way to get that working?

          Yup it runs with the originals but still cannot make the game start without them­...
          And there's no "no-cd"s for Sims 2 : University... so I'm forced to use my originals..

          I saw a message from another user in the Support forum he reinstalled windows and it was working.. weird bug =\

          well, if someone got any idea how to make it work.. I'll still be lookin'!

            Whats your OS ?
            Software installed (Alcohol, DT, CloneCD, etc... + version) ?
            How did you make the image (settings, etc...) ?
            Settings of DT ?
            DT & AS Customer. AS Support Team Member.

              I think the problem is more driver or windows side...

              I got
              Windows XP, I only got Nero for burning and the images I've tried alcohol but yet unsucessfuly...
              I've also tried all the combinaison of options for DT..

              So I'm a really tired of that bug
              I just wanna know if someone got any idea to make it work, cuz else way I'm gonna reformat again

                Try to reinstall DAEMON TOOLS in expert mode and change the drivers names.

                  already tried that too... didn't worked..

                  I formated and everything is working perfectly now!

                  Maybe a windows bug.. :P
