tool 2 scan a safedisk dvd or cd for the cd key

The CD key is not on the disc. And if you have a disc and no CD key, it means you don't have the original.

not what i asked

i have the disk but i lost the booklet the cd key was on and heard that safe disk games keep the key on the disk some where they have a program like what i need for starcraft if you lose the cd key it scans the disk for it but need one for bf2 or safedisk cds/dvds in general

If the title is still installed, search the registry for Battlefield entries. There (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\...) you will find your key.

The CD key isn't actually anywhere to be found on the disc (Starforce is the exception here), so there's no way to do what you ask for.

To make sure you get it right - the CD key is just a serial number you get with the game, it has nothing to do with the actual CD (again Starforce is an exception).
