Program searches CD although it is mounted

Hi,

I've got a problem running a program after having installed it from an image and keeping the image mounted with Daemon Tools.
The program asks to insert the CD into the drive and after inserting it into the CD-Rom Drive it works fine.
Unfortunately I've got no option to specify the CD drive in the program...

Any idea? Thank you so much for your help!

Try using A-Ray Scanner it may be able to detect the security/protection on the disc...

What program did you use to make an image of the disc?

I used Nero to create the image file. Is there a a better solution?

find out the copy protection with A-Ray scanner and then make an image with Alcohol 120%. nero is miles away from A120 at making images from protected discs...
