F.E.A.R. Patch 1.03

After updating F.E.A.R. with the new Patch, 1.03. My Backup copy emulated with Daemon no longer works. I get the message "A required security module can not be activated. The program can not be executed." 1.02 worked fine.

Anyone come across this? THANX!

No, not with Patch 1.03.

Did you try the Securom Loader from the download section?

did you change fear.exe compatibility mode to win2000 or lower ? (right click > properties > ...)

Tell me your results with compatibility mode and maybe I'll also upgrade fear to 1.03 if it works with the backup.

I've finaly installed update patch to 1.0.3 and it works fine for me.
I use a mini image (director's cut) + cureRom 1.3b.
I verified my fear.exe compat. mode and win2000 or not, it doesn't matter.

what image where you using before this one ? a self-made ?

ok is nice , but i think mini images or cracks posts are not allowed i have a full image for my original game but i finish this game last years so i dont want to download a patch but nice work to sYk0 for curerom this blacklists are vary hard

For me works so:

first edit the host file and put this:

127.0.0.1 fear.available.gamespy.com
127.0.0.1 motd.gamespy.com
