  • X3:Reunion AMD64 Problem

    Hi guys.
I have big problem with X3, propably because i've got AMD64 bit.
I have sfcuretool and sfcure64bit but when i try to run !start.bat i see something like that.

    "system error 123"
"File, folder or volume name is incorrect."

sfcure is in "pause mode" all the time

I have Win XP Prof. SP2

This is my first problem with starforce. PJ's King Kong runs without any problems.

If somebody know how to fix it please reply.

Sry for my english and THX.

Do not use sfcure... in fact, with a SF image and DT 4.+, there's no need of that. You have, by the way, to unplug your IDE optical drives

I have a Nforce 4 M/b and amd64 like yourself, this is how i got my X3 to run

Disable Pata controller in device manager (providing you have sata h.d)
        Click disable node in Sfnightmare.

If you have Nforce4 you don't need to unplug your drives, but you already know that if you got king kong working ok.

I found even if i unplug my drives i still have to do both steps above

It's definitly not a AMD 64-bit Problem. On my System (Athlon 64 X2 4400+, Windows 64-bit), X3 runs with DT 4.03 without ANY special Preparations.

So where is the problem? I have WIN XP SP2 32bit Maybe image, I had a CRC data error when i was trying copy image from DVD to hard disc. But only when im using my DVD ROM. Maybe this is the problem.
