I have bought battle for middle earth 2, and i used alcohol to make a backup image on my hd. I did this with black and white 2 and it worked a treat, yet when i have made my BFME2 image, i try to run it and it still says insert disk !? I don't understand, it must have some serious copywright protection on it. I am trying to back up all my games at the mo and this is really frustrating, any help would be appreciated Thanks.

LoTR: Battle For Middle Earth is protected using Safedisc v4.6
According to the Alcohol Support Forum (Which is where alcohol support questions are better directed) you should be making images using the Safedisc 2/3 Datatype.
Then use your favourite anti SCSI blacklisting program to run the game without the SCSI blacklist features affecting you.
I myself use CureROM v1.3Last edited by AmphetaMarinE; 07.03.2006, 08:11.

You can try it with Pr0tSt0p or CureROM instead of using SD4Hide.
