YASU V1.07 Not Working

I have recently tried to use Yasu V1.07 and it does'nt work i have a 6300 dual core Intel
1 Gig Memory
7300 gs Nvidia 256mb
AsRock 775Dual - Vsta/a/asr mobo
i have no anti virus and just the standard firewall within windows xp. I have windows xp sp2 and i also had avira anti virus classic installed but deleted it as i thought this might have caused problems.

When i Click to run Yasu i get a Very Very Very slow response until the the box comes up to tell me it has hidden drives E,F,G..G being Daemon Tools V4.08HE ..once this box has appeared it seems like my mouse is dead movement is ok cant click on a thing and system wont even bring up task manager ..
Resulting in a reset ..Any help would by appreciated

Well, as your problem is kinda strange, not to write damn unusual, if your want some help, you will need to be far more precise in the matter description.

First : OS used (if it's vista, version also, could help)
then... what software are installed? AV, FW...

What programs are running on background?

None ...all i have is Avira Anti- Virus Classic which i have now reinstalled
