new to yasu.....need help :(

I too have renamed, but the " unable to locate the file daemon dll and/or dtprodll please copy yasu.exe to your daemon tools lite directory then run the application again" mesage remains,

any ideas?

I have renamed, but now it shows the massage that it cannot authenticate DT!!! I'm using DT Lite 4.35

i have been having a similar problem, i have the lastest version of dtools (4.35.306.88), and yasu(1.6.9040).

It gives me error message on start up of:
Code 0x00000002
Message The system cannot find the file specified

it doesnt mention which file it is looking for though.

any help wd be appreciated. thx

rename mightn't be a good idea
copy one, rename the copy to daemon.dll
then try running yasu

which dll do you rename?

Rename one of the dlls to daemon.dll.

default would be c:\program files\daemon tools lite
on x64 systems it would be c:\program files(x86)\daemon tools lite

alternative method use the f3 search in explorer for 'daemon.exe', that'll also find the location

or check the program files in the start menu
start->programs->daemon tools lite
right click one, select properties, and you should see the location in there...

I use Daemon tools often, but i guess now i have to use Yasu, i have DTLITE 4.30.4 and Y.A.S.U 1.5.8111, when i click on the yasu i get a message that says..." unable to locate the file daemon dll and/or dtprodll please copy yasu.exe to your daemon tools lite directory then run the application again"...what i cant figure out is exactly where to paste the yasu.exe...where is my daemon tools lite directory....thx in advance
