install game, Browse to "Crack" folder on mounted disk

I'm not sure what my exact problem is. probably the same with all of you: When the game loads it gets to the "loading..." then as the mouse icon changes, the game kicks out and i'm back to my desktop. Is this the problem you all are having?

For anyone including myself who may have been experiencing this problem...you can say thank you later.


Mount ISO with Daemon Tools, install game.
Browse to "Crack" folder on mounted disk.
Run "rld-sweawkg" to create a CD-key.
Run update patch.
Once installed, replace the original SWEAW.EXE & PERCEPTIONFUNCTIONG.DLL files with the one in "Crack" folder.

This method will work if you use the SWEAW.EXE in the C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData folder to launch the game.

If you want to use the default launcher to run, you need to go to www.gamecopyworld.com and download an alternate LAUNCHEREAW.EXE and replace that.

This method fixes the "crash to desktop" after loading Petroglyph intro movie.
