Does it work with the original cd? How did you create your image (which program/settings)?

I downloaded full image... and it working when disconnecting optical drives, but after new game patch 1.01 SFupdated to 3.7.16.00 and game don't run anymore. May be time to do update DT to new version?
What to do?

I was trying to boot my copy of X3 without the real cd, i used an X3.mds file, same message popped up, and there is no .mdf file like i read on other topic.
