Heroes of Might and Magic V locks up

I'm kind of new to Daemon tools and read over a lot of the posts around and still can't find an answer. I've tried several different things. I've installed the game using Daemon tools mounted and installed. The game loads up, I create a Profile in the game and go to play the campaign and it goes to load the Campaign and I get the Windows error of Send or Don't Send. I've used SecuROM as suggested during installation and then running it, and then I installed without using it and then turning it on when I mounted to play and I haven't used it at all. Nothing seems to work. I'm able to load the game up, get to the selection screen and load a profile, but the minute it goes to load up to play the game. CRASH! Any and all help is welcome. Thanks

How did you created your image? Which application and which
settings used?

Does the game run from original-disk?

I didn't create the image. Someone else created it for me and I won't be able to tell you what it was created under. I do not have the original disc to run it from.
